Before I rant about the game, I feel like I'mma start drawing again soon. Woo.
So how has everybody been? I've been playing Star Ocean, it's an awesome game.
Oh yeah, listen to what I'm listening to above. It's a really cute song.

Okay so a while ago I went ahead and did a review on Luminous Arc and now I'mma do one for Luminous Arc 2: Will. So I bought the game and got a free CD thing featuring the BGM for the game. Blah blah blah... Next.

Game play has improved dramatically, yay. Part one's battle controls was terrible but Luminous Arc 2 has improved. Although, the new controls are almost exactly like Final Fantasy's. I would say this was their main improvement.

Songs, music, back ground music, are all pretty much the same. Repetitive and not enjoyable. At first yeah, they were pretty good and lively, but a few hours into the game and I found myself getting tired of the same old sounds.

Plot. Terrible. Same old, same old. Yeah, the twist with so and so was okay but nothing dramatic. Mainly because there were no key elements leading up to the "dramatic conclusion". And why is it always the same thing? Good guys think one way while the bad guys think the other and turns out they were both wrong, yada yada yada, etc. etc. etc. And I found it very, very annoying how none of the characters, especially the bad guys, would never explain what they were doing. Like, hello, the good guys want to help you save the world so why don't you want to cooperate? Which leads to...

Characters. The main character, oh come on. How much of a personality does he have? Really? He has no personality other than the nice guy who wants to make everyone happy and all the girls fall for him in the end. Boring. The main girl in both part one and two are always the rude ones with loud mouths and the typical personality of a selfish brat.(Although the main girl in part 2 wasn't that much of a loud mouth.) There's always a "big brother" figure and a childhood friend girl both with no actual personalities. I'm just glad there are no useless characters in your party. There are two extra characters you can get but since they're just extra, I won't really bother with them. Characters, boring and still no personalities. Where's a better script when you need one? And the main character looked better in the beginning in opinion.

The Good: Gameplay.
The Bad: Plot and characters.
